In an interview with H3 Podcast that she was raised by her grandma until when she reached the age of three. Kenneth Taylor, an American ex-pat, and his wife Eden adopted her. Poarch claimed that she was employed on the farm her family owned for 10 years and did chores. Bryner is her older brother. Poarch is the mother of two adopted siblings.
